College Guidance

At Trinity Academy Meadow View, our goal is to provide a complete education that equips students with the intellectual habits to flourish as adults, whatever paths they pursue. At the same time, a Christian education in the classical tradition—one that is equally strong in the humanities, sciences, mathematics, and the arts—is an ideal means of preparation for college. With the support of our guidance program, students who choose to pursue higher education have access to that opportunity.

Applying to College

Our educational aim for students is that they graduate equipped for a thoughtful and purposeful life. Because most of our students want to pursue higher education, we guide them through the college application process.

Each spring, ninth and tenth grade parents are provided an overview of the college admissions process and an outline of how students will be assisted along this journey. Beginning in January of eleventh grade, juniors and their parents are given formal guidance on academic planning, testing, and the application steps necessary for a successful transition beyond Trinity Academy.

  • The PSAT is hosted on campus each October for students in 10th and 11th grade
  • Each student is assisted in initiating a Scoir account and a Common Application (Common App) account.
  • Staff provide personalized support throughout the writing and revision process for each student's personal college essay and supplemental essays.
  • Students receive regular information about summer enrichment opportunities, college open houses, honors programs, and select scholarship opportunities.
  • More than 25 college representatives visit campus to meet with students each year.

College Matriculation

At Trinity Academy, we recognize that each student is called to a unique vocation and future. While many of our graduates choose to pursue higher education, we do not view our mission as simply preparing students for college. We seek to provide them with a strong liberal arts foundation from which they can build the next steps in their future.

Meadow View graduates follow a wide variety of paths after leaving our school. Some attend large research universities, Ivy League institutions, small liberal arts colleges, community colleges, military academies, or seminaries. Others enter the workforce, pursue mission service, or follow other vocational opportunities. We celebrate each of these paths and encourage our students to pursue their particular calling.
