About Us

An Education that Enlightens and Enlivens

At Trinity Academy Meadow View, we believe education is rooted in the pursuit of the true, the good, and the beautiful. It is a lifelong process, not simply a means toward college acceptances or future financial stability, but a vital part of what it means to be fully human. All of us have been created with a deep, natural curiosity—a desire to know God, to understand ourselves, and to explore the world around us. This vision of education shapes everything we do at Trinity.

The Heart of Our School

Pursuing All That is True, Good, and Beautiful

Formed by Truth, Goodness and Beauty

We thrive when immersed in what is true, good and beautiful.  Humans are created with a natural curiosity and drive to know and understand truths about God, themselves and the world around them. Humans yearn to understand what is truly good and, by the grace of God, to actually be good. Humans have an inborn capacity to delight in beauty and to create beautiful things. These are the heart of an education at Trinity Academy.

Encounter, Inquire, Understand . . . Together

A Trinity education is highly relational, centered around a strong faculty and student community that reawakens wonder. The communal nature of learning is evident in every course. In the literature courses, Humane Letters seminars and Scripture classes, students and faculty read and wrestle with great texts and ideas. Together they ask: Who is God? What does it mean to be human? What is justice? In science and math, faculty present real phenomena for students to observe and ponder before introducing the formulas behind them. As they are able, students often arrive at these discoveries themselves—together.

We Awaken the Love of Learning in Our Students

We know that education is a form of human awakening and that learning is most enjoyable and fruitful for the students when they are free and active agents in their own education. The faculty are essential as models and guides, and they create a culture in which students can engage the material put before them with curiosity and wonder. The students are given freedom to explore the material, discuss what they discover, question it and one another, and strive together toward reasonable conclusions.

A Classic Educational Model with a Modern Twist

A Trinity education includes sophisticated courses in the humanities, studio and performing arts, and an advanced math and science curriculum. For example, an eleventh-grade student can be learning computer coding, unpacking calculus formulas, discussing one of Socrates’ dialogues, and practicing for a Shakespeare production, all on the same day. While prioritizing relationships on a phones-out-of-sight campus, Trinity embraces limited technology that enhances learning.

Building One Another Up in Christ

We have a longstanding tradition of honoring one another. At the end of each sports season—and especially at graduation—we take time to recognize each student’s accomplishments and noteworthy character qualities. A commitment to building one another up in Christ is central to our community, and we are intentional about fostering speech that encourages rather than tears down.

A Culture of Faith and Fellowship

The culture at the school is deeply Christian. We begin each day with morning prayer where students gather together to read a Psalm, listen to a reflection by a faculty member or senior, lift up intentions, and pray the Lord’s Prayer.  Every class also begins with prayer. Our faculty are active Christians and the vast majority of the students, while not being required to sign a statement of faith, come from families deeply committed to Christ. As a school community, we  seek to witness to the fundamental unity among all Christians while respecting the different Christian perspectives and traditions of its members.

A Culture of Joy and Connection

When you step on campus, it’s clear that life at Trinity is unique—punctuated with joy. Laughter fills the air, and piano music drifts from the music room during breaks. You’ll see students talking and mixing across grade levels before school, during lunch, and after classes. They play basketball, soccer, spikeball, football, volleyball, and even the occasional game of tag—instead of staring at their phones. You’ll also notice students gathered with teachers, continuing rich conversations that began in class. The environment is warm, welcoming, and alive.

Education for the Love of God and Neighbor

We understand that a lifelong pursuit of the good, true and beautiful is intertwined with a life of service to God and others. In the beginning, God called humans to subdue and care for the earth and to raise families. Jesus summarized the whole law as a call to love God and love others. Education, in all its forms and fields, assists humans in their efforts to love God and others. At a practical level, Trinity Academy recognizes that most of its graduates’ next step in their lifelong pursuit of learning and service will be college, and therefore the school provides a college guidance program. However, Trinity Academy also supports and encourages other options that the students and their families discern as God’s will for them that do not require a college education.

Our History

Trinity Academy Meadow View is rooted in the educational vision of the People of Praise community. Over forty-five years ago, a team within that community, led by Dr. Kerry Koller, set out to study the educational landscape of the time, as well as classic, contemporary, and Christian educational theories. What emerged was a distinctive philosophy of education that has been used in the founding of multiple schools. In fact, this work of the People of Praise is recognized as one of the foundations of the contemporary classical school movement.

While Trinity Academy Meadow View, with its local board and leadership, will begin classes in the fall of 2025, it stands within this long tradition. Its faculty have been formed and seasoned in this model and are deeply committed to it. Many of its students are already familiar with and shaped by the excellent academics and the joyful, purpose-filled Christian culture that defines this educational vision.

To launch the Academy, the new local leadership was blessed with the extraordinary expertise and support of parents who served as new board members and volunteered on multiple committees and task forces.
